Synopsis

Set in Rotterdam, the film follows two strangers who meet and spend a single day together, their fleeting connection unfolding through gestures, silences and unspoken desire. The city’s bold architecture becomes a reflection of their inner worlds, spaces of dislocation, intimacy and belonging. What begins as a chance encounter transforms into a quiet exploration of how place and memory shape human connection.

The short is inspired by the director’s relocation from Turkey to the Netherlands. This personal journey of migration and queer identity informs the film’s emotional landscape, where themes of belonging and the search for intimacy are woven into the rhythm of a single day between two people.
